What a night!

We had a marvelous night at the "Highland Towne Mall." The decor was so cute!

We started out at the "food court" where we ate delicious food from various mall food court restaurants.

Here is our lovely RS Pres, Sandi O and her cute daughter Allison.

The mall patrons waiting in line to sample the yummy food.

After dinner, the sisters took their shopping bags and Mastercards to various stores where we were reminded of what is really important in life.

At A Children's Place Alicia C. taught us about time and how it is important as young mothers to find time to enjoy our children before this special time is over in our lives and we find ourselves wishing it were back. She shared thoughts from Elder Ballard's talk "Daughters of God" from the April 2008 conference.

Jessie N's store was the Hallmark store.

After that we dropped by GNC to discover ways we can "take 5" minutes, days, weeks, to increase our spiritual health by Roxy P. She shared a time in her life where she spread herself too thin with various activities and discovered she needed to "take 5" to refresh and rejuvenate.

Over at Journey's, Cathy T reminded us to find joy in the journey. She shared a touching story of her granddaughter who was born with a health problem and how their family has learned to find joy along the way, even though it has been hard.

Next was Lady Footlocker where Judy B reminded us to not judge another before we've walked a mile in her shoes. She taught us to love one another and to be kind.

We stopped by Things Remembered where Samira spoke about keeping a journal and personal history. She showed us her blog and journals and we brainstormed ways to keep memories. She also reminded us that it is a commandment to keep a record.

A big thanks to all who helped make this night of shopping a success!! It was a fun and uplifting evening.
